At Edina Family Physicians, all mammograms are interpreted (read) by a dedicated breast imaging radiologist at the Piper Breast Center – Abbot Northwestern Hospital, part of Allina Health. Mammograms are also scanned with a computer-aided detection (CAD) system, which aids the radiologist in thoroughly evaluating your breast tissue for cancer.
