Edina Family Physicians Clinic received the "Health Partners Innovative Award" in November 2009 as a leader in supporting health information technology.
Edina Family Physicians received this award for "A Collaborative Approach to Support Health Information Exchange" by creating a health care information data exchange with a large metro-based health care system. This data exchange includes reports from lab, radiology, specialty consultations and billing information which are securely transferred directly into the clinic's electronic medical record.
