Mumtaz A. Kazim, MD, ABFP

       

            Dr. Mumtaz Kazim is the X-Ray Director for Edina Family Physicians and has over 20 years of family practice experience.  Areas of special interest in addition to Family Practice are Aesthetics and Skin Care, Sports Medicine, and Women’s Health.

            During her education, Dr. Kazim received her undergraduate degree in Pre-Med at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.  She then attended medical school at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India.  She completed her internship at Port of Spain Hospital, Trinidad and her residency in the Family Practice Department at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.  She began her practice in July, 1985.

            Dr. Kazim is married to Hossein Aliabadi, a Pediatric Urologist, and they live in Edina.  They have one daughter.  Her personal hobbies include piano, cooking, theater and world travel.
