John T. Beecher, MD, ABFP

            Dr. John T. Beecher is the President and founder of Edina Family Physicians.  He has over 30 years of experience in family practice.  Areas of special interest in addition to Family Practice include Dermatology, Obstetric Care, Sports Medicine and Vasectomy. 

            During his education, Dr. Beecher received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1967 from Macalester College, Minneapolis, MN.  He completed Medical School at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis in 1971.  His residency was completed at the University of Minnesota from 1971 – 1974.

             Dr. Beecher and his wife Lori have 2 children together and live in Edina.   His hobbies include multiple sports, photography and exercise.
