Dr. Norma Thiessen joined Minneapolis Heart Institute immediately after finishing her training at the University of Minnesota. Her subspecialties include Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. Her clinical interests include non-invasive cardiovascular cardiology and women's cardiovascular health. Her professional health care experiences date back to 1989 when she began working at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Diego, CA. During the ensuing Dr. Thiessen received her Radiologic Technologist Degree from the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinic. She received her Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Science and Public Health Degrees from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN. She received her Medical Doctorate with Honors from St. George's University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies. She is a Fellow at the University of Minnesota Hospital, Cardiology Department. |
