Dr. William Hession  has been a part of the Minneapolis Heart Institute team since 2003.  His subspecialty is Echocardiography.

His professional experience includes: Past Chief of Staff for Fairveiw Southdale Hospital, Past Medical Director of Cardiology Services for Fairview Hospital Systems, Private Cardiology Practice from 1988 - 2003, and Past Chief of Cardiology at Fairview Southdale Hospital.

Dr. Hession received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey.  He received his Medical Doctorate from the New  York School of Medicine, New York, NY.  He is a Fellow at the University of Minnesota Hospital, Cardiology Department and consults at several regional hospitals and clinics around the Twin Cities area.
