ADULT EXAMS AND HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT

We strongly believe that your whole health picture should be reviewed at appropriate intervals throughout life.  These intervals are determined by your state of life, medical history, gender, and health status.

Women  generally should have a health review every year.  Breast exams and pap smears are part of these routine annual exams.  They also should have a baseline mammogram between the ages of 35 and 40 and have screening mammograms every year thereafter.

Men  should have a general health review every two to three years up to age 40, then every one or two years to age 50.  After age 50 these exams should be annual.

Everyone  from ages 45-50 should have two or three flexible sigmoidoscopy exams of the colon every ten years.
